The addition of a fifth terminal at Changi International Airport will boost capacity by 50 million passengers to a total of 140 million per year
T5 is expected to be a Super Low Energy building
It will feature solar panels, district cooling and thermal energy storage to lower carbon emissions
In addition, it will support the use of alternative fuels, such as SAF (sustainable aviation fuel)
T5 should be ready to welcome travelers by the mid-2030s
