"Who gave Israel this power to kill our children? The rulers and generals in Arab countries around Palestine gave power to Israel. And Israel is martyring our children because of its insignificance. This army should declare once and for all that they (Israel) cannot kill even one of our children."

STORYLINE:
Hundreds of protesters from the Jamaat-e-Islami party in Pakistan rallied in Peshawar on Sunday night to express their solidarity with the Palestinians in war-torn Gaza.
Protesters waved Palestinian and party flags while chanting against Israel and the United States.
"Israel is martyring our children," said Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman, the head of the party.
The protesters in Peshawar called for accountability for what they described as Israel’s atrocities in Gaza.
Israel launched its offensive after Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack in which militants stormed into southern Israel, killing around 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and abducting about 250.
The war has killed at least 35,000 Palestinians, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry, which doesn’t distinguish between combatants and civilians.
Around 80% of the population of 2.3 million Palestinians have been displaced within the territory, often multiple times.
