STORYLINE:
Spain’s far-right political partyy VOX was on Sunday holding a rally at the Vistalegre bull ring Madrid.
VOX has invited speakers from across the right wing spectrum including Marine Le Pen, Viktor Orban and Argentine President Javier Milei, who has been visiting Spain since Friday.
Across town in Colombus Square, left wing groups held a counter-protest, denouncing VOX as "fascists".
The Vox summit seeks to bring together far-right figures from across Europe in a bid to rally the party’s base ahead of European parliamentary elections in June.
Milei described his attendance a “moral imperative."
