This art project on a beach in England isn���t about building the best sand sculpture. Instead, it���s meant to remember those who lost their lives storming a beach to defeat the Nazis in World War II. Eighty soldiers were stenciled into the sand to honor the sacrifices made so long ago. D-Day was the day 150,000 allied soldiers invaded Normandy, France, which was occupied by Nazi Germany in 1944.
