STORYLINE:
Uma Thurman, Richard Gere and director Paul Schrader walked the red carpet at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival premiere of their new film "Oh Canada."
The film, written and directed by Schrader, follows the story of a draft evader named Leonard Fife — played by Gere — who fled to Canada to avoiding serving in the Vietnam War. Jacob Elordi also stars in the film as a young Fife.
"Oh, Canada" is one of 22 films in competition for the Palme d’Or.
