STORYLINE:
Prime ministers of the five Nordic countries gathered in Stockholm on Monday with the aim of bolstering Nordic competitiveness and fostering stronger collaboration within the region.
Among the leaders participating in the summit are: Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson, Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre, Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen, Prime Minister of Finland Petteri Orpo and the Prime Minister of Iceland Bjarni Benediktsson.
The two-day Nordic summit kicked off with a dedicated focus on amplifying Nordic economic strength, drawing participation from prominent figures in the business sector.
During their stay in Stockholm, the heads of government will visit the company Ericsson, accompanied by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
Discussions will revolve around pressing security policy matters, including hybrid threats, civil preparedness, and the integration of new technologies into security frameworks.
