German-Israeli among hostage bodies recovered in Gaza | DW News

Israel’s military says it has located and identified the bodies of three Israeli hostages held in Gaza. Among them is 22-year-old German-Israeli, Shani Louk. Louk was presumed dead after images of the Hamas October 7 terrorist attack showed her body in the back of a pickup truck. A military spokesman said she and the other two hostages, identified as Amit Buskila and Itzhak Gelerenter, were killed by Hamas at the Nova music festival on October 7 and their bodies taken into Gaza.
The announcement comes on the same day that Israel responded to charges genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
