Monday’s Met Gala featured a garden green-tinged carpet and a palooza of A-listers from film, fashion, music, sports, politics and social media.
Co-chairs Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Hemsworth and Bad Bunny joined Anna Wintour, the architect behind the evening’s lavish fundraiser.
Among the stand-out looks: Kim Kardashian in a silver corset and Lana Del Rey dressed as a tree, her face shrouded by fabric held up by branches.
Tyla chose a Balmain gown made using sand on fabric molded to her body. She needed help as she made her way up the museum stairs.
The name of the fundraising gala’s accompanying exhibit was "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion."
The exhibit highlights and illuminates fragile garments from the museum’s collection that were now being “awakened” to the world.
