Jaylynn Parker, 15, could not believe her eyes when she pulled in a huge fish from the Ohio River. It turns out, the blue catfish weighed a whopping 101 pounds, and she had broken the state’s record for largest fish of its kind caught. She had to wait nearly a month to have it confirmed as the new record to beat. “I was just completely in shock when he came up. I was definitely not expecting it," she tells Inside Edition Digital.
