STORYLINE:
Russia’s defence ministry on Friday invited foreign military attaches to an exhibition in Moscow of Western armoured vehicles captured in Ukraine.

The ministry invited attaches from 50 countries to view the international military equipment, including American, British, German and French hardware, at Moscow’s Victory Park on Poklonnaya Hill.

32 armoured vehicles, including Abrams and Leopard tanks and the Bradley Fighting Vehicle, are on display alongside other military equipment from the US, Britain, Germany, France, Sweden, South Africa, Finland, Australia and Austria.

Military guides presented the exhibits to the visitors telling them where and how each vehicle was hit.

The exhibition of Western military vehicles opened on Wednesday, ahead of Russia’s Victory Day celebrations on 9 May, and will run until 31 May.
