Baby Margo weighed one pound, five ounces when she was born prematurely at 25 weeks into mom’s pregnancy. Then, she developed a severe intestinal disease that is prevalent in premature babies. Margo was airlifted to the NICU at Children’s Hospital New Orleans. Mom and dad didn’t think she’d survive. Eight months later, Margo is getting ready to go home in time for Mother’s Day.
