Israelis in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem on Monday marked Yom Hashoah, the day Israel observes as a memorial for the 6 million Jews killed by Nazi Germany and its allies in the Holocaust. In Hostages Square, a table was laid out to remember the hostages taken by the Hamas militants during the attack. Meanwhile, in Jerusalem Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu laid a wreath at the nation’s Holocaust memorial, calling the event "incomprehensible", while also referencing the October 7th attacks. #israel
