“Kosovo is celebrating for 14 years now the International Dance Day since the organizer, the school Evolution Dance is part of the Committee the International to Dance which is under UNESCO and they the organization which declared this day. Since then we gather all the dance schools that are different genres such as ballet, contemporary, folk dance, Latin, hip hop and different kind of dances to unite in the center of Pristina."

STORYLINE:
The streets of Pristina were filled with dance on Monday with children and adults celebrating International Dance Day.
Locals watched on as dancers showcased their talents to a variety of music, ranging from hip hop to traditional folk.
Dafina Rudi, the organizer of Pristina’s show, said that Kosovo is a member of the Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute.
“We gather all the dance schools that are different genres such as ballet, or folk dance, Latin, hip hop and different kind of dances to unite in the center of Pristina,” she said.
Under UNESCO, the 29th April has been declared International Dance Day since 1982.
