The US is telling "the world we will do everything to defend democracy," Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said on Tuesday, after the upper chamber of Congress passed a $95 billion emergency aid package for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan. "We make Vladimir Putin regret the day he questioned America’s resolve," he also told the media.
