It was, also a real will from to have these French flag colors blue, white and red, but in a very bouncy and very subtle way. So here you have the patina, which is really the emblematic signature of the Maison. STORYLINE:
The House of Berluti unveiled on Wednesday the official outfits that French athletes will wear for the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.
The two key words of this collection are “elegance and comfort” said Vanessa Le Goff, Berluti collection director.
With 1,500 athletes to dress, Berluti chose comfortable fabrics to ensure that each athlete feels at ease during the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic Games.
Women will have a choice between trousers and skirts.
Berluti chose colours with shades of blue, white and red to represent the French flag.
Patina, an emblematic technique of the house, was used to give a subtle and refined touch to the outfits.
"We use inks and waxes to make the belts, blue, whites, and reds and to make it shiny," colourist Justine Durafour said of the patina.
The Olympic and Paralympic team logo will be present on the outfits, but not in an ostentatious manner.
