He claimed that Judge Juan Merchan was moving the case much too fast, moving it along at a rapid pace. And for some reason, Donald Trump feels that that pace is not favorable to him. He continues his demands for the judge to recuse himself, and he’s fighting, appeals on multiple fronts, even as this trial is continuing to play out."

"Donald Trump, was in court. He was watching as jurors were questioned. First by reading a questionnaire and answering questions and then by lawyers, the prosecution and his own defense team. Trump laughed at one point when a juror mentioned that he had read The Art of The Deal and several other books that Trump authored. He also was following along intently as jurors, some of whom were removed for cause, which is a way of removing a juror without using one of the ten, quote, challenges that each side gets, as some jurors were challenged for social media posts that they made, which the defense contended, were aimed at Trump."

Now, Trump claims that that was not the right decision by District Attorney Alvin Bragg, and that Alvin Bragg was going after this bodega owner while he was not going after other criminal activity in the city."
