"What we did during the Iranian attack on Israel is that we confronted what we believed was a threat to the security of our citizens. Jordan was in the middle, and just as we confronted the Iranian drones that could have posed a threat to Jordan, we will confront any Israeli drones as well that we believe may pose a danger to Jordan."

"Israeli Prime Minister Bibi (Benjamin) Netanyahu, whose government has extremist and racist ministers, must be prevented from imposing a war agenda on the region. We must work together to neutralise this agenda and impose a real peace agenda that achieves peace for Palestine, Israel, and the entire region. We must also prevent Netanyahu from diverting attention from what is happening in Gaza, so that the focus is on the Iranian-Israeli confrontation."

"We have worked and are ready to continue working with Germany in order to confront this disaster. As I’ve said, we in Jordan are ready to open a direct supply line from Jordan to Gaza, and we can send more than 500 trucks daily to Gaza. But the question is when these trucks reach the crossings in the north, who will receive them? The United Nations must assume responsibility for receiving and distributing aid, and it is not doing so because Israel prevents it. The United States (referring to the United Nations) requires guarantees for its security and the security of its employees, and this must be achieved. It must not be allowed that relief workers be subjected to the killings that happened to the World Central Kitchen employees in recent weeks."

"Regarding Iran, as I’ve confirmed moments ago, the Iranian attacks were in response to Israel’s attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus. And Iran has said that it will not go further than that and will stop. Now, in order to prevent an escalation, the entire international community must put pressure on the Israeli prime minister to not respond and plunge the region into a new spiral of war. It is no secret that the Israeli prime minister’s policy aims to expand the conflict in order to relieve the growing pressure on him globally as a result of the killing, war and destruction he is doing in Gaza."

"We cannot accept that Israel violates international law without deterrence, and deal with everyone else according to a different standard. To deal based on the same standards, everyone who violates international law must be held accountable."
