The Veterans Collective has reached a momentous milestone in building the nation’s largest supportive housing community for Veterans — the halfway mark!
TVC, a partnership between Century Housing, Thomas Safran & Associates and U.S.VETS, alongside the Department of Veterans Affairs Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System and The Core Companies, recently broke ground on five new buildings (404, 402, 156, 157 and 401) that will provide housing and services to veterans and their families at the West LA VA North Campus. A special event on June 27, 2023 celebrated the progress on the master community plan and recognized more than half of the 1,200 planned units are already finished or under construction.
Congressman Brad Sherman and Congressman Ted Lieu expressed their continued support and presented an American flag to Veteran Ernest McFadden.
Gregg Sherkin of Wells Fargo announced their increased commitment to $2 million toward the development of veteran housing and a new career services center.
