How Brexit could redefine UK farming and protect its damaged ecology

"We need to rethink how we produce and how we consume" – that was the message from the opening session of the United Nations biodiversity summit today in New York.

It aims to explore ways to protect nature, while also meeting global development goals. So how would a new, sustainable future look in the UK?

And we were joined by Elizabeth Maruma Mrema from the United Nations Convention of Biological Diversity.

She will be overseeing the creation of a new global biodiversity agreement for the next decade.
