"I feel like what’s been happening within the government, we’re not being represented equally. I’m a, I’m a veteran. I depend on the VA (program) for my health care, as do many other people here. And with the recent cuts and the expected cuts coming down the pipeline of over 80,000 personnel. Care’s already difficult. It’s going to get more difficult to the point where people may not even be able to get care. I have the, I’m able to turn to my TRICARE because I’m retired, but most vets veterans, they can’t. They depend on the VA and the services and the people that are there."

"They’re afraid because they don’t want to answer the hard questions. They don’t want to speak the truth, which they won’t speak the truth. I expect nothing but lies and some subterfuge from Chuck Edwards. My plan is to call him out. If I get to ask a question, it’s going to be a very straightforward, easy to answer question. I’m not trying to trip him up, but I don’t believe he’s going to be able to answer those questions."
