STORYLINE:
Several hundred students have blocked the entrance to the Serbian TV station RTS in Belgrade, blowing whistles and sounding horns late Monday, as a part of ongoing protests in Serbia that have gripped the country for the past four months.
Serbian students accuse the public TV channels of biased reporting and siding with the government and President Aleksandar Vucic for the duration of the demonstrations.
Uros Petrovic told The Associated Press that the protesters had targeted the network and would remain there for 24 hours because RTS, "did not report adequately, because officials here are calling us scoundrels."
Earlier, Police wearing riot gear were seen entering the building.
Serbian students are leading mass protests demanding responsibility after deadly canopy collapse at the train station in Novi Sad, which killed 15 students on November 1, 2024.
