DOJ attorney Liz Oyer says she was fired after refusing to restore Mel Gibson’s gun rights. According to the New York Times, Gibson tried to buy a gun but was denied due to his past criminal offense. In 2011, he was convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence after striking his ex-girlfriend.
