US President Donald Trump says he’s "strongly considering" imposing new sanctions and Tariffs on Russia after a wave of Russian strikes across Ukraine. The Ukrainian air force says it shot down more than 67 missiles and 200 drones in the attack, which officials say targeted Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
In a post on his Truth Social platform, the president called on both countries to get on with peace negotiations. But later, during a White House press conference, he once again appeared to blame Ukraine for standing in the way of peace.
