STORYLINE:
A pro-Palestinian protest briefly blocked Highland Avenue, stalling the flow of stars on the Oscars red carpet.
At 3:16 p.m., the Oscars texted attendees to stay in their vehicles as roadway obstructions meant the event could not receive guests.
Ten minutes later, a text said arrivals could resume, but the carpet had substantially cleared out.
