South Korea’s military says that ‘pilot error’ was what caused one of its fighter jets to accidentally drop eight bombs on a civilian area during training. Eight people were injured and several buildings damaged when the KF16 jets released the bombs onto a city close to the border with North Korea. The military says they will halt live drills while they investigate the accident, and that they will compensate the victims.
