Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says his country is ready to work under Donald Trump’s ‘strong leadership’. Zelenskyy also called for a ‘truce’, and said Kyiv is ready to sign a deal with the US to extract minerals from Ukrainian soil.
Zelenskyy’s comments came after the US suspended all military aid for Ukraine’s defense against Russia. Washington said it was pausing and reviewing support to ensure it ‘contributes to a solution’.
