The Kokama people in the Amazon perform rituals to aid Oscar nominated film

Members of an Indigenous community in the Brazilian state of Amazonas performed a ritual on Friday in a bid to aid a film about an Indigenous rights advocate at this weekend’s Oscars. With music and dance, a group from in Inhãa-be village, made up mostly of women, performed the War Ritual followed by the Victory Ritual, in a bid to help propel the movie "I’m Still Here" to success in the 97th Academy Awards on Sunday.
