What began as a standard press conference ahead of signing a mineral deal quickly turned into shouting and assertions from US President Donald Trump and his Vice President JD Vance that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was being "disrespectful" and not "thankful," in addition to criticizing Zelenskyy’s tremendous "hatred for Vladimir Putin." Zelenskyy left the White House soon after the meeting ended and no mineral deal was signed.
