Officers worked to rescue a horse that had fallen into a frozen pond. 911 calls came in to New York’s Saratoga Springs Police Department. A horse named Sly fell through cracks in the surface into the freezing water below. More officers came to help the owner pull Sly out of the water. After much effort, Sly was brought onto solid ground. Police said in a statement, “After reaching solid ground, the horse was able to get to its feet and was walked to a barn to begin receiving veterinarian care."
