11 German Shepherd Puppies Rescued From Motel

Colorado’s Wheat Ridge Police Department visited a motel for an animal welfare check. Police say 11 German shepherd puppies were found living in cramped conditions. Multiple puppies were held in crates that were only built for one dog. Officers said the smell of waste was "overwhelming." The dogs were all taken to an animal shelter where veterinary staff found none of the dogs had received vaccines. All of them had symptoms of parvovirus, but only one tested positive.
