Chinese President Xi Jinping has met with the heads of several major private tech companies in Beijing. Among those present were Alibaba’s former chairman Jack Ma, the founder of Chinese electric vehicle giant BYD, and Huawei’s CEO. China’s government is looking to turn around its slowing economic growth, hoping the private sector will provide the solution.
