"And then the hind quarter should be narrower than the front. So the judge would feel for that. And there you have it. And the last thing that they would do in examining a Pekingese would be the lift, because they’ll say they should pick up heavy, meaning they are toy dogs, so you should be surprised when you lift her up that she’s actually as heavy as she is because of her body substance and bones."

The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is back at Madison Square Garden for the first time since 2020.
About 2,500 dogs from 201 breeds will compete for Best in Show on Tuesday night, marking a full return after pandemic disruptions.
