STORYLINE:
The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Malaysia’s Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on Wednesday during his visit to Putrajaya.
After taking part in a welcome ceremony the pair held discussions where they spoke about several issues including improving trade and investments and boosting tourism, officials said.
Mirziyoyev is on a two-day visit to Malaysia.
Uzbekistan is the second largest trade partner among the central Asian republics.
