The survivors of last week’s deadly floods in northern Afghanistan are continuing to search for lost loved ones.
Buildings were completely wiped out and livelihoods were lost when torrents of water swept through the province of Baghlan.
Noor Mohammed, 74, was one of those whose search ended with tragedy, after he lost his wife, sister, son and two grandchildren when the flood waters hit.
The flash floods are said to have been a result of unusually heavy storms and a dry winter in the province, which has left the ground too hard to absorb the water.
