"We have been waiting for him for twenty years, but our joy was not complete, because his mother and all of his sisters were martyred in one day, an entire family, 20 members of his family, his mother, his sisters, his brother’s wife, and his nephews, the whole family. Whenever he called us, he said, “I want to go out and find someone,” and we told him. ‘You will go out and find them all’. He went out and did not find any of them. He went out to see them in the grave instead of receiving him."

STORYLINE:
About 150 Palestinians who were released in the Gaza Strip arrived in a convoy to the European Hospital in the southern city of Khan Younis on Saturday, where they were mobbed by relatives, friends and reporters.
Many of them stuck their heads out the bus windows, waving excitedly as the convoy made its way through hundreds of people raising Palestinian flags.
Some of the freed prisoners grasped the outstretched hands of their loved ones who were hoisted upon the shoulders of the crowd who shouted “God is greater!” and some slogans in support of Hamas’ military wing.
Family members wept, hugging and kissing those they haven’t seen in months, and, in some cases, years.
The releases will happen gradually over the course of the six weeks of Phase 1 of the agreement.
