Kelly Ripa was in tears as she and her husband Mark Consuelos announced the death of their beloved rescue dog. They say this is the hardest thing they’ve ever experienced as a couple. Their dog Chewie was 17 years old. Ripa adopted Chewie in 2007, and the adorable dog visited the set many times over the years. Ripa and Consuelos say they are grateful they had Chewie for all these years.
