With the help of AI technology, family photos can be brought to life. Apps like MyHeritage’s LiveMemory can take your old photo and turn it into a video. Artificial intelligence predicts how the photo subjects would move or gesture in real life. Then it generates an animated video of what that might look like. Genealogist Jen Shaffer uploaded a photo from 1925 of her late grandma and her siblings. She says bringing her long-deceased ancestors back to life is a remarkable thing to see.
