Thank God, food is available, but there is no money. It is little, and we provide food with difficulty for the children."

STORYLINE:
Roughly two weeks into the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, a surge of aid is arriving in the Gaza Strip—yet many Palestinians say it is not yet widely available.
The UN says over 350,000 Palestinians are returning to the devastated north, and getting aid to those in the most heavily damaged areas remains a challenge.
On Friday, men, women and children flocked to a distribution point in Gaza City to grab boxes of food.
Samir Abu Holi, a 68-year-old man with over ten children, said the aid was a “little relief.”
“Thank god, food is available, but there is no money,” he said.
Aid is available in camps for displaced people and official distribution sites, but Palestinians are reporting that much of the aid is being sold on the market, where prices are coming down but remain higher than they were before the war.
