Hamas says 110 Palestinian prisoners freed after chaotic hostage release | BBC News

Hamas says 110 Palestinian prisoners have been freed as part of the ceasefire deal brokered between Israel and Gaza earlier this month.

The release of Palestinian prisoners to Ramallah in the occupied West Bank was delayed after the chaotic third release of hostages in Khan Younis was criticised by Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Israeli soldier Agam Berger, 20, Israeli civilians Arbel Yehud, 29, and Gadi Moses, 80, and Thai agricultural workers Pongsak Thaenna, Sathian Suwannakham, Watchara Sriaoun, Bannawat Seathao and Surasak Lamnao were freed in the exchange on Thursday.
