Actress Cheryl Hines attended her husband’s health secretary confirmation hearing. She gave Robert F. Kennedy Jr. a kiss before taking a seat right behind him in the hearing room packed with his supporters and opponents. Kennedy was blasted by Democrats for statements he had made expressing vaccine skepticism and for promoting wild conspiracy theories. Kennedy’s cousin Caroline appealed to the senators to reject him in an open letter where she called him a fraud.
