"It’s a very different game, and I have way too much respect for real actors to pretend that this is ‘ Oh, come on. You know, it’s simple.’ No, I credit Mary Bronstein. She worked with me very, she worked with me repeatedly. She kept coming out to LA. She would sit with me. She would talk to me about the character. She worked me hard to make sure. And I like to be prepared. And Mary took that to the next level. And then I had the luxury of, I mean, when I’m around a Rose Byrne and I’m doing a scene with her, I understand what my place is and I can see what she can do. I can’t do what Rose does in a million years, so I’m very glad that my part does not require me to do that. Do you know I mean? So no, this did not mean, I’m not deluded. I didn’t leave this experience thinking ‘I’m an actor now.’ I left this experience thinking this was absolutely beautiful and I got to see people who are at the top of their game."

"He’s extraordinarily smart, but he never wears his intelligence as intimidating. It’s very, he’s such a literary guy and wonderful to talk to, but he was so respectful and really committed to these scenes we had, which were extremely difficult, very long. And I was very mean to him. And he, like he was just wonderful. And I couldn’t obviously think any of his, I have been on his show many times too. So once I got over that, we had a lot of fun."

STORYLINE:
Conan O’Brien and Rose Byrne premiered their latest film "If I Had Legs I’d Kick You" at the Sundance Film Festival on Friday.
The A24 film was written and directed by Mary Bronstein.
It also stars A$AP Rocky, whose trial in Los Angeles also took place on Friday. The hip-hop star is accused of firing a handgun at a former friend.
