As rain finally descends in and around fire-devastated Los Angeles, there are new fears of mudslides and toxic rain runoff from fire-scorched neighborhoods. Health officials are warning the debris from burned houses may contain dangerous chemicals. There are also fears the runoff from the rain is contaminated. Now, contractors with the Environmental Protection Agency are going property to property searching for hazardous materials at burned areas
