People convicted over Jan. 6th storming of US Capitol released from prison | DW News

Among his first acts back in office, Donald Trump pardoned more than 1,500 people convicted over the storming of the US Capitol on January 6th 2021. Some were serving long jail terms, and they include prominent extremist groups.
