4. SOUNDBITE (Ukrainian) Andrii Sybiha, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine:
"There are a few days left until the inauguration of Donald Trump. Of course, these elections have global consequences and global significance. We look forward with great hope and anticipation to our first official contacts after January 20. Our assessment is that we have additional chances to accelerate the achievement of a just peace. We hope to gain new momentum to achieve this goal, which I am convinced unites both Ukraine and the United States. And this is our common, strategic interest in achieving a just, comprehensive peace. The most effective way to do this is to uphold the concept of peace through strength."

6. SOUNDBITE (English) Caspar Veldkamp, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Netherlands:
"I would like to assure you that you can continue to count on the support from the Netherlands, political, military, financial and moral support. The Netherlands also believes that this is the time that the international community should step up its support for Ukraine. As President Zelenskyy had announced that he wants the war to end sooner than later. We will do everything we can to support Ukraine also in this endeavour. And for that, we need to continue our support in the military fields, in the non-military fields, and else. The Netherlands is committed to help Ukraine in defending itself against the Russian aggression. Just now, I announced to Minister Sybiha that the Netherlands will make 7 million euros available for the Ukraine Comprehensive Assistance Package, UCAP, coordinated by NATO."

8. SOUNDBITE (English) Caspar Veldkamp, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Netherlands:
"When it’s about the weeks and months ahead and the new American president, just let me say and underline and this is very important – nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine, nothing about Europe without Europe. We need peace through strength like my colleague said. And I’m confident that the U.S. is fully aware that the way this war ends affects the perception of American power in the world. Because this war is not just a war between Ukraine and Russia. We see involvement by Iran in delivering drones and short-range ballistic missiles to Russia. We see involvement by North Korea with troops on the ground. We see involvement by Chinese companies and Chinese financial institutions enabling the Russian war effort. The way this war ends affects the world and the perception of the world, that world has of American power. And I’m confident that that is noticed in Washington."

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha welcomed on Thursday his Dutch counterpart Caspar Veldkamp in Kyiv.

During a news conference in the Ukrainian capital, Veldkamp pledged further support for Ukraine.
