“I think autobiographies are very interesting. I have read about Benedict, the German Pope, and also John Paul II. And it gives kind of impression of their life. And really, I guess I expect some more insights and also what he feels about his life as a Pope and also the way he actually he goes and I think the name of the book we talk about as well is “Hope”. Yeah. So I think this also is part of his deep belief, I guess, that we need to be a person of hope. People of hope."

STORYLINE:
The new autobiography of Pope Francis, co-written with the Italian journalist Carlo Musso, was released on Tuesday in more than 80 countries.
Pope Francis has divulged some of the behind-the-scenes dynamics of the secret 2013 conclave that elected him pope and the resistance he has encountered.
“Hope: The Autobiography” was only supposed to be published after Francis’ death.
But at his own request, the book is hitting bookshelves now to coincide with the start of the church’s Holy Year.
“Hope” does provide personal insights into how history’s first Latin American pope interprets his childhood in Buenos Aires and how it has informed his priorities as pope.
The book offers Francis’ own sometimes unflattering assessments of decisions he made or things he regrets drawn from conversations over six years with Musso
