1. SOT Mis-Teeq (L-R: Alesha, Sabrina and Su-Elise) Talk on: recording 2nd album ‘Eyecandy’, different styles on the album, inspiration and video behind ‘Scandalous’, touring and what it will involve, highlight of career so far, ambitions.
Su-Elise: "Scandalous is kind of like the big sister to ‘One Night Stand’, it’s an album that’s not to far from what we did on ‘ ‘Lickin’ On Both Sides’ but edgy enough to move you in to eye candy and the new album. So it was a nice one to bridge the gap for us and that’s why we released it as a first single. We had great fun writing it, fantastic time in Norway. Yes, very happy."
Sabrina: "What you should expect from this album is no one track sounds the same as another. We try to be as versatile as possible and I think we have reached the element that we wanted to get where we said we wanted a Hip Hop track or an R and B track or a Soul track or a Garage track, we have done all of those and they are all very much defined on this album."
Sabrina: "Highlights I’d say is definitely our last album ‘Looking On Both Sides’ going platinum because when we came out a lot of people were like OK, they can sell singles but can they sell albums? So that was a big achievement for us. Also getting involved in all of the big shows, The Queen’s Jubilee, The Brit Awards, The MOBOs, Glastonbury and Creamfields."
Alesha: "We feel like we are still at the beginning which is great for us because it gives us somewhere to go. As far as we are concerned, OK we have gone platinum, but in this country, there are so many other countries around the world, so many other shows, we’d love to do an arena tour, we’d love to get on to our third album. So many things that we are still yet to do as Mis-Teeq."
