1. SOUNDBITE (English) Bethenny Frankel, TV personality/philanthropist – on watching her friends home security camera during fire and her call to action:
"Once it became real and we were in the middle of the night watching the video camera, and then ashes get inside and then the feed cut, I was say–, God, it was like watching a horror movie in real time. And I’ve never experienced that. As someone who’s a philanthropist, I experience knowing a storm’s coming. And then after, I’m never in the middle of seeing what’s happening firsthand. And so I was calling my partners at Global Empowerment Mission, who actually are the 501C3 and said, ‘Let’s buckle up now’ because my BStrong initiative is for the things that I am passionate about that I want to raise money for, that I want to get into. So this was personal. I lived in this town."
