These people fell through ice and survived. In 2022, Missouri firefighters rescued two teenagers who fell through ice. Ironically, the first responders were training for ice rescues at the time. In 2021, the ice gave way underneath a group of people ice skating on Amsterdam’s famous canals. In January of 2025, a woman still in her slippers and pajamas helped rescue someone who fell through ice. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.
