A police K-9 and drones helped bring an autistic boy back to his family. An officer from Georgia’s Gwinnett County Police Department gets out of his patrol car and puts a leash on K-9 Sika. Sika’s nose picks up the scent of the child as she guides her handler past suburban lawns towards a ditch on the side of a road. The child is back home with his family. In the end, it took a combination of old fashioned police work, modern technology and human’s best friend to make this rescue happen.
