"It’s a smart bouncer that will transform into a bassinet. And the reason we developed it was because we know that a lot of young mums get really burnt out. And one of the dilemmas they have is their baby is in a bouncer, but happily being soothed but then starts to get sleepy or it’s nap time. And they have this dilemma which they know they shouldn’t leave the baby in the bouncer, but they know if they move it to a bassinet is going to wake the baby up. So, we developed a bouncer that will transform seamlessly into a bassinet, so they don’t need to pick the baby up. And the baby then can sleep safely in the bassinet."

"So it’s got a couple of really smart features. Number one, mum or dad always knows what kind of bounce their baby likes, and so they can set it and the machine will learn it, we call it SootheLoop™, so you can set it exactly how you want it and then the machine will just keep that bounce going, so keep the baby happy and also when it is in the bassinet mode, it senses when the baby is in the product and starts recording that as a nap session so mum can keep track of all the times that baby is having a nap."

"When you’re going through that period of just having like a young family, you’re faced with so many problems and challenges that you’ve never had to deal with before. At CES 2025 in Las Vegas, UK-based Elvie has launched a smart baby bouncer that transforms into a bassinet to keep young ones napping.
STORYLINE:
The Elvie Rise can transform between bouncer and bassinet, the goal is not to disturb children while they’re taking a nap.
But the device, is also packed with same smart tech to make parents’ lives easier.
Parents can record their bounce and, with the company’s “SootheLoop” technology, the Elvie Rise can automatically repeat it, over and over.
Parents can also auto record time spent in the bassinet and track their child’s sleep to see how patterns change over time.
